  Thanks :-)

  With the help of Kamen's comments, I've been able to
find the culprit plugin for me (hddtemp_smartctl on one of my nodes).
Re-encoding the plugin file (on the node) seems to fix the mail
flooding for me :-)

  For the long term (and upsteam), I would suggest to check for
UTF-8 encoding when loading the plugin and, if a bad string if found,
print a message (on stderr at starting time and/or in syslog)
because it is a little bit difficult to find which string is bad.
