Package: ttf-unifont Version: 1:5.1.20080820-1 Severity: normal thanks The unifont.ttf font handles combining marks such as accents as zero-width. This means that if they are used, they are superimposed on a following glyph. This is the way combining marks are entered on many Input Method Editors. However, it would be better if the positioning of combining marks were adjusted so that they are superimposed on a preceding glyph to match the Unicode Standard. This would improve Debian Unicode support.
