I will, right now it seems that the macro does not work any more, so
my tables continue to be _not_ editable

Sorry, what I meant, I could *NOT* install 2.50 from oldstable
the command
            apt-get install -t oldstable libmyodb 

installed version 3.51.09 sorry for the typo.

Well and what is about 2.50 to stable then, it is irritation to have 
*no* working version neither in woody, sarge nor sid.

Right I read again the bug reports, it seem that the person who solved
his problem, compiled the necessary version for himself, I try to
contact him.
