Hi Jan, I'm investigating this RC bug because if unsolved it will prevent php5-idn from being included in Debian Lenny - which would be a pity.

What script and what list of strings did you use to make php5-idn crash with this backtrace? Is it a particular string php5-idn fails to convert or does this error occur randomly?
