Package: emacs22
Severity: wishlist

emacs22-nox is nice because it starts up faster than the -x version, and
even more so than the -gtk build. Hence, it's useful to be able to have
both, e.g. using -nox for remote logins to the machine on which it's
installed. (I would like to be able to have quick-starting Emacs instead
of using Zile).

Hence, could it be possible (as for example with the emacs-snapshot
packages, at least on Ubuntu) to install multiple flavors?

Also, it would be nice if there was an emacs-nox alternative just like
the current emacs alternative, so that the -nox flavor could have a
version-independent name.
