Package: libdbd-pg-perl
Version: 1.42-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
Since the postgresql socket location is now changing (and
getting to be version dependent), DBD_Pg is looking in the wrong
place for UNIX domain sockets. Specifying localhost and port is a
workaround, since it then uses internet domain sockets, but that
brings in additional overhead.
I suppose this is part of the transition for Postgresql in
unstable, but thought I'd record the issue for others.
thanks,
manoj
