I've followed your example explicitly to try and duplicate the error. Each time I tried wyrd preformed as I would expect and did not double up the line as in your example. I tested your example using both my customized .wyrdrc and also the default /etc/wyrdrc.
I'm marking this bug as unreproducible. Please check your wyrd again and let me know if it still does not put in the newline. Also, please check your ~/.wyrdrc to make sure there is nothing in there that doesn't belong. I'm not sure what, but it is probably worth having a look at. -- Kevin Coyner GnuPG key: 1024D/8CE11941
