Package: nagiosgrapher
Version: 1.6.1rc5-6
Severity: minor

Hello,

I wanted to graph performance data from my nagios system. I use nagios
for a long time so I still use nagios 1.x and feel satisfied. But when I
installed nagiosgrapher from testing, it pulled nagios3 as dependency.
After I changed all my configs to nagios 3.x and configuring
nagiosgrapher I realized that nagiosgrapher should be able to process
perfdata from nagios 1.x as well. Is there any special reason why
nagiosgrapher depends on nagios3 and not on any version of nagios?
Wold it be ok to have dependecies like this?

Depends: nagios3 | nagios2 | nagios-text

Or is there some deep issue that makes nagiosgrapher incompatible with
nagios 1.x a 2.x ?

Regards
Vladislav Kurz
