Thank you for using xd and for sending in this bugreport. Most likely your
problem is caused by the version of of the bobcat library that's installed on
your system. The package information shows that bobcat 1.20.1 is
required. I suggest that you upgrade to a more recent version of the library
(it's available in the sid distribution). Apparently a flaw in the Debian
package as the package info does not show a minimum release level, but the
build-information mentions at least version 1.20.1.
