Package: ecryptfs-utils Version: 63-1 Severity: normal This bug is pretty much similar to this Ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ecryptfs-utils/+bug/259631
I've updated libpam0g, libpam-runtime, and libpam-modules. I followed the instructions in the man page of pam_ecryptfs to add the required lines: $ grep pam_ecryptfs /etc/pam.d/* /etc/pam.d/common-auth:auth required pam_ecryptfs.so unwrap /etc/pam.d/common-password:password optional pam_ecryptfs.so /etc/pam.d/common-session:session optional pam_ecryptfs.so unwrap Still, my ~/Private directory is not mounted automatically. And doing ecryptfs-mount-private manually will report a missing key. Even if I insert the key using ecryptfs-insert-wrapped-passphrase-into-keyring, a reboot will lose the key again. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ecryptfs-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.7-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libecryptfs0 63-1 ecryptfs cryptographic filesystem ii libgcrypt11 1.4.1-1 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgpg-error0 1.4-2 library for common error values an ii libgpgme11 1.1.6-2 GPGME - GnuPG Made Easy ii libkeyutils1 1.2-9 Linux Key Management Utilities (li ii libpam0g 1.0.1-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libpkcs11-helper1 1.05-1 library that simplifies the intera ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-13 SSL shared libraries ii libtspi1 0.3.1-7 open-source TCG Software Stack (li ecryptfs-utils recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
