Hi Junichi,

With latest GRUB in experimental (1.96+20081108-1) you can test at_keyboard.c
without need to apply any patch.  Please can you confirm if this works for
you:

  insmod at_keyboard
  terminal_input at_keyboard

After these commands you should be able to use Ctrl key combinations regardless
of firmware bugs.

Note: Even if you updated to a fixed firmware, I'd still appreciate if you can
test this.  Moving to at_keyboard will avoid similar trouble in the future.
