Package: file-rc Version: 0.8.11 Severity: normal On startup, after bringing up my network interfaces, ifup calls /etc/network/if-up.d/openntp, which calls invoke-rc.d openntpd force-reload This causes the computer to print out the warning:
---------------------------------------------------- WARNING: invoke-rc.d called during shutdown sequence enabling safe mode: initscript policy layer disabled ---------------------------------------------------- This is similar to bug #384509 against sysv-rc, which has been fixed by teaching sysv-rc's invoke-rc.d the difference between runlevels 0 and 6, and the boot runlevel (S). Please make a similar fix to file-rc. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.27.5-x86-1ken (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
