This is bug #429059 in emacs22 which has been fixed in sid, package
should migrate to lenny soon. So there is no need for semi to depend on
mailx.

Indeed, mime-edit.el does not get byte-compiled. This is a serious
error, certainly the package must fail to configure if a file cannot be
byte-compiled. I've adjusted the title and severity accordingly.
