Hi,

i must say it will be a good idea to upgrade this package to version
2.0.7 since it resolves different annoying bugs, especially the one i
noticed using FTP over SSL.
This is taken from the official site http://vsftpd.beasts.org/:

vsftpd-2.0.7 is released - with minor fixes and enhanced SSL support.
SSL interoperability with FileZilla was fixed. Some build errors
introduced in 2.0.6 were corrected. A race causing PASV connection
drops under extreme load was fixed. Options to more aggressively check
proper SSL data transfer were added, but unfortunately buggy clients
mean it is not on by default.

I know lenny is freezed but since at the moment i'm writing there are
still 156 RC bugs
(http://bugs.debian.org/release-critical/other/testing.html) i believe
there is more than 2 months to the release and time to check the new
package properly.
Can you at least put a new one in unstable or experimental? I'll be
glad to help in any way, at least to test it.
Regards.

Marco
