Hi, Unfortunately I have to take my previous statement back. I backported 3.22-2 to Etch, and it still does the following 4 replacements on paste:
! -> $ _ -> ? - -> / 0 -> ` At least these are the ones I could find. Unfortunately currently I have no access to graphical Lenny machines. My XKB config is set by: setxkbmap us,hu,us_intl ,102_qwerty_dot_dead, "" grp:shift_toggle,ctrl:swapcaps,ctrl:swapret where ctrl:swapret is a private invention analogous to ctrl:swapcaps. I will experiement a little, and will dist-upgrade my desktop machine next week anyway.
