As one finds in #499897, it has been accepted, for APT, that fixing this could "break" l10n completeness by introducing new translatable messages. The trade of security vs. i18n is easy to do. Of course, once a patch is included and if it introduces new strings (which is likely), a translation update round will have to happen.
