Hi.
Add -L/var/log/dictd.log -dinit option to dictd and see log file.
I've added: --locale ru_RU.UFT-8 -i -L/tmp/dictd.log Command line: akrdbn:~# /etc/init.d/dictd start Starting dictionary server: dictdinvalid locale 'ru_RU.UTF-8' log file: :I: 3435 starting dictd 1.9.15/rf on Linux 2.6.8-2-6 Thu Jun 16 15:51:00 2005
It's all good in the log-file. dictd don't writes "invalid locale 'ru_RU.UTF-8'" to log-file. BTW, I've tried not only the 'ru_RU.UTF-8' locale, but also en_US.UTF-8, en_US.utf8, ru_RU.utf8. For all are them it writes 'invalid locale ...' I also tried write --locale=ru_RU.UTF-8 It didn't work anyway!. :-( With best regards, Alexei Krassiouk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
