Package: gqview
Version: 2.0.4-4
Severity: minor
Hotmail (and presumably others) have now started sending files marked as MIME
type image/pjpeg, so it would be useful if this package would provide an entry
for mailcap that handles that MIME type.
Obviously this is slightly controversial, as that type has not been registered,
so Hotmail are to blame, not gqview.
However, in the spirit of being lenient in what you accept, it would make
things "just work" again if the mailcap entry was provided.
I have hacked my own .mailcap entry.
To fix, add the following line to /usr/lib/mime/packages/gqview:
image/pjpeg; gqview '%s'; test=test -n "${DISPLAY}"; priority=4
Thanks,
Matthew
