It looks like gqview has some support for *.swf files, but it's buggy.
Probably You have some .swf file in Your home directory, and gqview reads them
on startup. 
I guess it will work if you start it specyfing some other dir - for example:
gqview /


BTW: If I try to open some .swf file I got this:
SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_shape.c(374): swf_shape_add_styles: unknown fill style
type 0x08
segmentation fault

or this 
SWFDEC: ERROR: swfdec_font.c(158): tag_func_define_font_2: langcode 1
segmentation fault
or If I have more luck there is only "broken-image" icon displayed.

Is there any type of those .swf working with gqview? 
If .swf support is "never-working" maybe it should be disabled when building
package?
