Package: fcron Version: 2.9.6-2 Severity: normal Hi,
my machine normaly is online from 7h30 to 1h. In crond.daily I added a script that does : `echo test | mail root'. It is only run If my machine is online before 7h, or afer 3h. Looking the fcontab responsible for cron.*ly, I saw that the hour is set to 3-6, but fcron isn't supposed to run cron that can't be run because the machine was offline ? Also it seems to do nothing (send a mail, restart it, ...) when the cron is killed because of a powerdown... thanks Matthieu -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages fcron depends on: ii adduser 3.63 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.51 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.13.9 Package maintenance system for Deb ii exim4 4.51-1 metapackage to ease exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-tr 4.51-1 lightweight exim MTA (v4) daemon ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpam0g 0.76-22 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libselinux1 1.22-1 SELinux shared libraries ii sysklogd [system-log-daemon 1.4.1-17 System Logging Daemon fcron recommends no packages.
