fdfd:ffff:dddd::122 is the RFC 4139 conforming address of a virtualized
host on the same system. It does not seem as if the address would be
invalid.
The problem occurs also with non-virtualized systems.

The addresses of the network fdfd:ffff:dddd::/48 are everywhere
displayed/logged correctly, except in the output of `who --ips`.
