And he basically said two things: * It's quite some work to implement the concept of a global configuration file in SCDaemon correctly. Especially gpgconf would need to be changed for supporting this. * It's rather easy to make scdaemon choose a default configuration file (e.g. /etc/gnupg/scdaemon.conf) in case the user running SCDaemon does not have his own SCDaemon configuration file.
