I just realized that I still had dund running in background from a
previous try. Killing it and starting a new one with
1-16h28-/etc/ppp/peers#dund --listen --activesync --msdun call synce-bt
produces no output and:
1-16h29-/etc/ppp/peers#tail -n1 /var/log/syslog
Dec 29 16:28:40 smg8 dund[8398]: Bluetooth DUN daemon version 3.36
Other try, without --activesync:
1-16h29-/etc/ppp/peers#ps ax | grep [d]un
8398 ? Ss 0:00 dund --listen --activesync --msdun call synce-bt
1-16h29-/etc/ppp/peers#kill 8398
1-16h29-/etc/ppp/peers#dund --listen --msdun call synce-bt
1-16h29-/etc/ppp/peers#tail -n1 /var/log/syslog
Dec 29 16:29:44 smg8 dund[8405]: Bluetooth DUN daemon version 3.36
I also tried, as suggested at
http://www.synce.org/moin/SynceInstallation/ConnectingBluetooth (without
understanding what I am doing):
1-16h32-/etc/ppp/peers#sdptool add SP
Serial Port service registered
But anyway, still:
0-16h33-~$synce-pls
** Message: Hal reports no devices connected
** (process:8423): WARNING **: synce_info_from_odccm: Failed to get
devices: The name org.synce.odccm was not provided by any .service files
synce-pls: Could not find configuration at path '(Default)'
I feel I'm getting close... But what should I do know?
