Hello,
Please see the following reasons for the removal request:
* Package is orphaned.
* Upstream is dead.
* Package build-depends on libgtk1.2-dev which is scheduled for removal.
* Package has some significant bugs.
Popcon is fairly high but while working on a patch to build it with
Gtk2, I got in contact with the upstream developer who thinks it should
no longer be needed and he has certainly done no development on it
recently. (In the last 10 years in his words).
