Package: samba Version: 3.0.14a-3 Followup-For: Bug #259687
Hi I can confirm that this bug does indeed exist. When I upgraded from Woody to Sarge as part of the new Debian release, the writelist option stopped working. It worked perfectly with the Samba 2.2.xxx release that was maintained as part of Woody and therefore given the statements made by the two previous users, it seems almost certain that this is a widespread Samba issue with the new Sarge release.
