Thank you. I expect this to be OK, but can you for the record explain why? Did it work to add this setting to a file in /etc/insserv.conf.d/ instead of directly in /etc/insserv.conf? I belive it is the proper way to do it in the future, to avoid telling insserv about all interactive scripts in Debian.
