This description has been in the repositories for a long time and no
one else reported any problem. Without more information, like the
offending dpkg db, it's rather difficult to track this down in case
it's really a dpkg bug. It could well be a corrupted status file or
similar.

Marking as unreproducible and moreinfo for now, otherwise I guess we
should close it after a while.
