I tried to reproduce the problem I reported.
I see that the package version has changed from 0.9.7-1 to 0.9.7-2.2.
The upstream version is no more available. http://cryptonit.org/
redirects to http://www.opentrust.com/index.php?lang=fr
Are you still maintaining the package?
Is upstream still maintaining the software?
Maybe the package could be removed from Debian if nobody is maintaining
the software.
I think bug #504980 (FTBFS with GCC 4.4: missing #include) may be a good
reason to remove the package (if the bug is not corrected by NMU)
