pppd from Package ppp in debian etch uses libpcap.so.0, and the package
depends on libpcap0.8, but libpcap0.8 version 0.9.5-1 only provides a
/usr/lib/libpcap.so.0.8 symlink, no libpcap.so.0 symlink. Running
'ldconfig' does not create the link either. Manually adding a symlink
resolves the problem.
I'm not sure if this is a bug with ppp or libpcap, but as ppp depends on
libpcap0.8, I guess it should link to libpcap.so.0.8 instead.
