Package: gnome-core Version: 1:2.22.2~5 Severity: normal Installation of GNOME from gnome-core package (without use of tasksel for Desktop installation), creates two broken application launchers in GNOME Panel, no icon and do not launch nothing. I think they are for Epiphany and other application which would be installed by default if tasksel had been used to install GNOME Desktop.
I suggest to remove them from gnome-core, and set them only if tasksel is used to install GNOME Desktop. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnome-core depends on: ii eog 2.22.3-2 Eye of GNOME graphics viewer progr ii gedit 2.22.3-1 official text editor of the GNOME ii gnome-applets 2.22.3-3 Various applets for GNOME 2 panel ii gnome-control-center 1:2.22.2.1-2 utilities to configure the GNOME d ii gnome-icon-theme 2.22.0-1 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii gnome-menus 2.22.2-4 an implementation of the freedeskt ii gnome-panel 2.20.3-5 launcher and docking facility for ii gnome-session 2.22.3-2 The GNOME 2 Session Manager ii gnome-settings-daemon 2.22.2.1-2 GNOME settings daemon ii gnome-terminal 2.22.3-3 The GNOME 2 terminal emulator appl ii metacity 1:2.22.0-2 A lightweight GTK2 based Window Ma ii nautilus 2.20.0-7 file manager and graphical shell f ii scrollkeeper 0.3.14-16 A free electronic cataloging syste ii yelp 2.22.1-8+b1 Help browser for GNOME 2 gnome-core recommends no packages.
