I submitted http://twitter.com/datop/status/1136301589 using Twitux. As you can see, the "mplayer F && : >F" string shows correctly. However, when Twitux shows that update in its window, it shows "mplayer F && : >F". It is funny because the &, which is also an HTML special, gets showed correctly, but not the > character.
