Hi all, I had the need to batch extract the images from ico files, and found that there were no current Linux utilities that supported Vista's PNG compressed 256x256+ sized icons.
Attached is a patch (Based loosely on GIMP's ico loading code), that adds suport for Vista's PNG compressed 256x256+ sized icons to icotool. The patch is against Debian's icoutils_0.26.0.orig.tar.gz - http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/i/icoutils/icoutils_0.26.0.orig.tar.gz It's been tested on Debian lenny on an x86 machine.
