Package: release-notes Severity: normal Tags: patch
Hi, upgrading.dbk has an odd paragraph which only contains a footnote. The footnote should be included just after some word in another paragraph or changed to a normal "note". I prefer the latter. Also, the last section of that file, identified as "plans-for-nigel", only contains a subsection for arm and armel. This results in "plans-for-nigel" being an empty section for other architectures. I propose to add a property 'arch="arm;armel"' to the section likewise to make it shown only in release notes for arm and armel. Here is a patch to do so. Could you please consider applying it? # I have made many corrections and improvements directly to English files, # but this change is slightly big. So, I file this as a bug report. ;-) Many thanks, -nori -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (90, 'unstable'), (80, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ja_JP.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
