please let me know, what help you need for solving this bug.

However, courier-imap does not crash or something like this.  Sometimes
(several times per hour) it has problem allocating memory...

My server is a Quad-Xeon 500MHz wit 4 GByte of memory and entirely SCSI:

I dubt it is a hardware problem since the current installation is called
"Production 1" (recent Etch) and if I boot into  "Production 2"  (Sarge)
it is just working fine.
