To actually make this work (that is: allow fai-setup to use the
mirror that fai-mirror produces), fai-mirror needs to use everything
in /etc/fai/NFSROOT. However, what it actually uses is
$NFSROOT/var/tmp/packages.nfsroot , which doesn't have anything from
the NFSROOT that has a package defined. To fix this, I've created a
file in package_config that defines the extra packages needed. This
may not be the best way to do things, but it works, and if you guys
run with this patch you should at least mention that issue.

In particular, with FAI_DEBOOSTRAP pointing to the fai-mirror
created mirror, I didn't end up with the kernel there for either
I386 or AMD64.
