Thanks for the report. This file is not executed, so the damage is limited to e.g. using it as an inappropriate storage by a user (or maliciously trying to hide lintian warnings from the maintainers of klibc-utils! ;-). I therefore think that an upload to the next stable point release and old stable point release is the most appropriate way to address this. Maintainers, can you please contact the stable release managers to get approval for this change and prepare updates for etch and lenny? thanks, Thijs
