Package: foomatic-db-gutenprint Version: 5.2.3-2 Severity: normal
I have upgraded cups/foomatic to latest in unstable, however if I try printing the CUPS testpage, there is about a 2cm empty space at the bottom, and if I measure the "inch markers" then 1 inch results in 1.9cm when measured (~0.74 inch). When I print a document, this problem is very obvious, since the document apears cut at on edge, and starting ~2cm off. This is particularly obvious when printing landscape. After downgrading cups/foomatic to lenny, the testpage is printed correctly (covers entire area of page). I used the following command to downgrade: sudo aptitude install cups-bsd/stable cups-client/stable cups-common/stable cupsddk/stable cupsddk-drivers/stable cups-driver-gutenprint/stable cups-pdf/stable foomatic-db/stable foomatic-db-engine/stable foomatic-db-gutenprint/stable foomatic-db-hpij/stable foomatic-filters/stable foomatic-filter-ppd/stable foomatic-gui/stable libcups2/stable libcupsimage2/stable libcupsys2/stable libgnomecups1.0-1/stable libgutenprint2/stable Printer details: Description: Samsung ML-2010 Location: Local Printer Printer Driver: Samsung ML-2010 Foomatic/gdi (recommended) Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published.
