Sorry for the inconvenience. (This bug won't be fixed in Debian sarge.) > When I executed command same as process 2866, it asked passphrase and I > inputted it. In mew-3.3/mew-smime.el, the mew-smime-passphrase function seems to work when a prompt message matches a value of the mew-smime-msg-enter-pass variable. Could you please try the following configuration? (setq mew-smime-msg-enter-pass "Enter pass phrase") BTW, the upstream author drastically rewrited mew-smime.el in Mew 4.2 (using gpgsm instead of openssl). However, it is still in the alpha stage. If you wish to enhance mew-smime.el, please use Mew 4.2 or later, and ask comments to the upstream mailing lists (http://www.mew.org/ML/). Thanks, -- Tatsuya Kinoshita
