They conflict with ncurses (making an incompatible change to "rxvt"). A nonconflicting solution would be for mrxvt to use its own name. (I reviewed those files a while back when this first came up, found that mrxvt didn't work properly even with those - suggest that mrxvt's developer spend some time with tack and vttest - in addition to making it nonconflicting). -- Thomas E.
