Package: coreutils
Version: 7.1-2
Severity: minor

Thanks for maintaining Debian's coreutils package.

It's quite handy.

Please add punctuation to the man page for the
"cut" command.

Specifically, sentences describing options should
begin with capital letters, and end with periods.

For example, cut's man page currently says

"use STRING as the output delimiter the default is to use the input
delimiter"

but it seems to me that it's actually two
sentences, and should be punctuated to say

"Use STRING as the output delimiter. The default is to use the input
delimiter."

Punctuation will make it easier to read, and cut
easier to use.

Thanks,
Kingsley
