Hi. It seems it is a known problem with some atheros cards and madwifi in AP mode (http://madwifi-project.org/wiki/StuckBeacon) Yesterday I did the: iwpriv ath0 bgscan 0 iwpriv ath0 protmode 0 iwpriv ath0 rssi11a 11 iwpriv ath0 rssi11b 11 iwpriv ath0 rssi11g 11 iwpriv ath0 bintval 500 sysctl -w dev.wifi0.diversity=0 sysctl -w dev.wifi0.txantenna=1 sysctl -w dev.wifi0.rxantenna=1 (the last three I already used because I am only using one antenna) And I haven't seen this problem since(that is actually using madwifi trunk, but I got the same errors as the version in lenny and they disappeared using the iwpriv commands) The bug can be closed I guess Regards Hasse H.
