Package: pristine-tar Version: 0.21 Severity: wishlist pristine-tar should not be using refs/heads/pristine-tar as the refs/heads/ namespace is for branches, for heads that someone works with. As such, they show up in gitk and the like.
It would be better if pristine-tar kept its trees referenced from e.g. refs/pristine-tar/1.2 or the like. Switching to that is likely going to be best done with a one-off migration, rather than a compatibility layer. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pristine-tar depends on: ii libc6 2.9-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii perl-modules 5.10.0-19 Core Perl modules ii xdelta 1.1.3-8 A diff utility which works with bi ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages pristine-tar recommends: ii bzip2 1.0.5-1 high-quality block-sorting file co ii pbzip2 1.0.5-1 parallel bzip2 implementation pristine-tar suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madd...@d.o> Related projects: : :' : proud Debian developer http://debiansystem.info `. `'` http://people.debian.org/~madduck http://vcs-pkg.org `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing systems
