For some weird reason ./configure picks libdb4.2 while ignoring libdb4.6 and consequently fails (the same way for me as for Helmut Grohne. I think, for some unknown for me reason, upstream is unaware of the issue (otherwise, I believe, they would fix their ./configure). Build log in attach.
