The support for mx has been removed by purpose, to avoid an extra
dependency; psycopg2 compiles just fine with the standard date and
datetime.

Can you please elaborate on the need of having psycopg2 depending on
python-egenix-mxdatetime? I am thinking about shipping two different binary
packages, one with support for mx datetime and one without it...

Thanks.
