Hi!
Michael Prokop complained about that tabbed doesn't support direct
switching to a tab number with alt+numberkey - so I added support for
that.
While hacking around and starting to get used to tabbed though I found
that it's a bit annoying that it takes out both alt+cursor and
ctrl+cursor for cycling through the tabs (with different code even %-)).
Especially since I also didn't want to put alt+numberkey support in
unconditionally (I'm an irssi user myself and alt+numberkey is sacred!)
I fiddled around a bit more and added two more ressources to support
switching them on/off which obviously default to current behavior.
Find attached the patch for the file and the complete file for
convenience - including a hint that it lacks copyright informations. ;)
Hope you like the approach, I tried to copy the coding style even
though it differs quite a bit throughout the file, and also tried to
name the ressources in a way that would fit current ones. Please note
that both ressources are meant to be sorta boolean and I just check for
the usual values that would switch to the non-default behavior - every
other value will be considered to use the default values.
Thanks for this really helpful piece of software, and I hope you
consider the patch as useful as do. If you also want to make
shift+cursor configurable for those that just want to use ctrl+cursor
and have shift+cursor available for whatever, you now have an idea how
to do that. ;)
