Package: man-db Version: 2.5.2-4 Severity: minor *** Please type your rs those around the GNU homepage URL in groff.1:
Angle brackets, such as those in the URL in groff(1): .URL http://\:www.gnu.org "GNU" . are displayed as occupying two character cells, but treated for wrapping purposes as if they occupied only one. This messes up the display. I've tried this with two different fonts (Fixed 13 and DejaVu Sans) in two different terminals (uxterm and rxvt-unicode) so it doesn't immediately seem to be a terminal or font problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages man-db depends on: ii bsdmainutils 6.1.10 collection of more utilities from ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.14.25 Debian package management system ii groff-base 1.18.1.1-21 GNU troff text-formatting system ( ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-3 GNU dbm database routines (runtime ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-12 compression library - runtime man-db recommends no packages.
