Firstly, the GUI installer, looks and acts a bit too much like just the old ncurses style mode, maybe following the Gnome HIG could make the options flow a bit better. Secondly, on package selection, there should be more groups avaliable. What if I want a different desktop than Gnome? There should be other package group options in the installer.
