I agree that we should limit the spread of 3.0.4 as much as possible. 3.0.5 is now available (there is just one patch applied to 3.0.4 to fix this bug) so it would seem to me that it is better to generate the 3.0.5 package and upload that instead, and do whatever we can to keep 3.0.4 from being used by anyone.
