Please replace this copy with a symlink to /usr/share/javacript/jquery.js and depend on libjs-jquery, the approach that has been taken by python-sphinx and python-apt. This is partially related to Policy 4.13 which deals with "Convenience copies of code" in source packages, because it shares the same ideas.
