Package: tracker-utils
Version: 0.6.92-1
Severity: normal

It seems to me that trackerd (and in tern tracker-indexer) shouldn't be started
by tracker-stats or tracker-status (or similar initialisation code in other
libs ?).

If tracked and no other tracker-related program is running, launching
tracker-stats shouldn't start it.

Maybe that's a similar behaviour that make it restart in the background evn
though I tried and not using it ?

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
